Created to facilitate customs processes through the Single Portal, the government has created electronic documents that simplify the provision of data for imports and exports and their inspection, the DUE and DUIMP. The DUE (Single Export Declaration) is an electronic document that replaces the old RE (Export Registration), SD (Dispatch Request), DDE (Dispatch Declaration) and DSE (Simplified Export Declaration). It is drawn up from the Export Invoice and contains the main information about the operation, so that the intervening agencies and other foreign trade players can take their measures.
The DUIMP (Single Import Declaration) is the electronic document that will replace the DI (Import Declaration) and the DSI (Simplified Import Declaration), bringing together - in both cases - all the information of a customs, administrative, commercial, financial, tax and fiscal nature focused on government control of exports and imports. Both are advances for companies aiming to do business internationally, both for the purchase and sale of products and inputs.
